[XFree86] monitor display problem

Dear Sir/Madam We have installed RedHat Linux 8.0 on Intel 845G ChipsetWipro make system. Monitor displays in 800x600 resolution only,if we change the resolution to 1024x768the displaygoes down. It works fine in RedHat Linux 9.0 Kindly advice us to how to rectify the problem. Thanks in
