Hi all,
I am Using Knoppix 3.3 xserver-xfree86 version is 4.3.0
When I am trying to log in as normal user from kdm it's not allowing me.The
error given in log file is as follows :
X : client 1 rejected from localhost.
But when I am logging as root from kdm it works fine.

the most important entry - the physical resolution 1400 x 1050 - is missing
in bios.
i wrote to acer to ask for a valid bios but they don't want to provide it,
cause it works with windows and that's all they assure.

Matrox has a driver on it's homepage. It should work with every XFree86 4.x.
Since Mandrake 7.0 is using XFree 3.3.6 you should consider downloading a
newer Mandrake.
...Or use the 3.3.6 SVGA driver. It has all options for 2D but no 3D.
