This is only to pass on info regarding CHAINTECH SUMMIT motherboard with integrated nvidia nforse video chip and how they work with 9.0 Mandrake.
They work great. Great definition and clarity. On first attempt to configure
X Server Monitor and Resolution I played with all these settings and never got
satisfactory results. But when I got out of the way and let the installer probe and configure things it self things worked great. Hats off to Mandrake,
drakx works great. I have installed 8.0, 8.1 and 9.0. I had another platform
Pentium I 200mhz S3 trio 64v2/gx video and it finally came down to just letting drakx do the work it was intended to do.
I am really greatful for this web site. I have gotten a lot of help here. I would wish to help others in the way that Ive been helped.
