Re: [xiphos-users] detached sidebar
I have used it only when trying out all the features. Have not used it otherwise, and will not miss it... [xiphos-users] detached sidebar
The "detach sidebar" capability is poor, has apparently never been good, functional, or valuable, and yet has outstanding bug reports. Given the lack of serious use of this feature, I am considering simply removing the ability, rather than to spend time on a feature which has, to the extent I have seen, virtually no users in practice. Based on conversations with others, it is at least as useful simply to open detached windows of whatever modules are wanted (which works fine), as to detach the sidebar from the main window. Can anyone make a good case for this being actually valuable? ___ xiphos-users mailing list xiphos-users@crosswire.org http://www.crosswire.org/mailman/listinfo/xiphos-users
