What do you think about placing all xmail cmd line params
in the server.tab file in next version ?
Just an idea to centralize xmail server running parameters ...
Or place then in a separate file like config.tab ?
This will simplify and 'uniformize' params placement and edit

Thanks for the instructions. I have tried to modify them for Windows but I
cannot get XMail to call the ecartis.bat file:
My ecarits.bat file:
rem FILENAME=%1
rem test to see if this batch file is being called
echo in here c:\ecartis.dat
c:\apps\ecartis\econv.exe --mbox --unix --input %1

For sending to root has been solved in version 1.17. You need to add
DEFAULT_DOMAIN=3Dmydomain parameter to /usr/sbin/sendmail script.
NO !
DEFAULT_DOMAIN is for MAIL_FROM, to if a mail comes from CronDaemon, it
becomes [EMAIL

I've got Xmail configured and running just fine with a single domain on
my WOK box. Edited the domains tab to add 3 additional domains, set up
users for it, but the mail server only seems to authenticate for
whichever domain is listed in my server tab as my default domain.
Any suggestions on

Add the domain portion to the user name when authenticating. For example,
if you have domain1.com, domain2.com, and domain3.com, and domain1.com is
your default domain, you need to use:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
to authenticate user4 from domain2.com - if you just use user4, it
assumes domain1.com.
I suppose you could have a boot.tab or similar that conveys that it is read
only once (at boot)
I think that the number of questions in the list that ask how to turn on
logging would reduce if the settings were in a tab file ( or ppl could
rtfm ).
