[xml] can't compile non-debug build

Good day, I'm attempting to build a release version of 2.6.17 on FC3 and I am failing. No matter what switch I provide configure, I end up with -g on the gcc command line. I've tried --without-debug, --disable-debug, etc., but none seem to work. Any help here is appreciated. Christopher Baus h
