The next Wikimedia Developers Summit will be in January 2017. I plan to hold an unconference session on development of an API for monitoring/stats for dumps of all sorts. Let's get the discussion going now; what do you want to see? Note that tis is for the rewrite so you need not be restricted by how the dumps run now.
