To date, XMLTask has had a separate build for Java 1.4 (due to XPath API
issues).
Is anyone using this any more ? I'm proposing removing the support for
this for future releases unless anyone speaks up (I have no problem
supporting it if people are using it).

Apologies for the delay in replying. Can you confirm again that the
latest XMLTask doesn't work, and if so, can you send me a trivial test
case ? I've just run a set of tests here, and all looks good, so I'm a
little confused.
