The challenge here is that everyone has different views of what constitutes
good support. As an example, many people consider 3d a must-have in order to
support Compiz / KWin effects, while historically relatively few have
considered operation in a VM to be important (I realize that is changing)

Yes, I've read about this as well. I know barely n
This minor release includes a number of packaging updates accumulated

Hello Eric,
I’ve seen in several places that the reason Sentelic’s driver doesn’t have
edge scrolling is due to patent concerns. Perhaps absolute mode was
overzealously removed for the same reason.
Yes, I would love some help! If we can get this to work, do you think it
will be possible to merge
I'm trying to setup a linux server GUI that I can view with a Windows client.
I tried to start x on 1 but got the following errors.
Any ideas on what the problem could be?

I have an MSI Wind U100, which comes with a Sentelic touchpad. Apparently,
its driver is already in the kernel.[1] Unfortunately, the driver does not
provide any of the typical features you would expect from a touchpad, most
notably edge scrolling. Instead, it uses hot zones that are mapped to

What do you mean ? If there's no xorg.conf file, how is X supposed
to know which three modes I want ?
