in my previous question I asked which library I should use for as raw
mouse input as possible and got pointed to XI2.
As it turned out, I have to use XI2 for the keyboard input as well.
I'm porting a piece of code which currently uses something like this:

I posted a patch to save/restore MCHBAR_RENDER_STANDBY which made my
X200s happy. Let us know if this helps for you.

the patch works nice :) suspend worked for several times now :)

Im using a Thinkpad X200, which includes the Intel GMA X4500MHD.
