xf86-video-ati driver on gentoo box. When I watch movies with mplayer
and I minimize the video window it sometimes goes white after restoring
and the only way to get it to show my movie is to switch to fullscreen.

The IGP chips do not have an integrated TMDS controller so they use an external
chip connected via DVO to provide DVI. Unfortunately, we do not yet support
this configurat

There are some knobs, but it's hard to suggest something without knowing
the specific situations you feel could use tweaking. Please elaborate.
