I have (what seems to be) a muxless AMD/intel hybrid laptop. I saw the progress
on dpm for the radeon driver
and so I wanted to try it. Using the radeon driver directly does not work
(being the system muxless, X loads the radeon module, init DRM and all that
stuff but ultimately

With the two video-ati fixes applied on top of git the text corruption is gone

fyi. The new xserver runs the uniengine tropical benchmark about 20% faster
than 1.15 (see https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=75992 for details)
