I was able to install a 4.1.2 kernel, and the problem is there with that
kernel. Fedora didn't seem to release any kernels between 4.0.8 and 4.1.2.

Use git bisect to find the exact commit that caused the regression. Google for
"git bisect howto".

I'm assuming "bisect" means find a kernel somewhere in between the two
I have tested with. Well if I can find such a kernel and figure out
how to install it I will do so.
