Ohh that sound good. I really hope it works. Im running debian SID, and the latest Xfree is 4.1.0-6. Trident CyberbladeXP does not work with this one. Was the the Xv support without acceleration supposed to work in that package, or do I need to wait for the trident patch?

I have some problems writing a XF86Config file for more than 16bit
colordepth
with the Trident Cyberblade XP for the Tecra8200.
I need for the most of my software 24bit.

On an eight-bit visual, XDPS will allocate a 9-level gray ramp, and a
4x4x4 colour cube, for a total of 73 colourmap entries. (Colour
allocation happens on the client side in XDPS.)
Can RENDER deal with such a configuration?
