Greetings everyone!

We're finally making progress to deliver a fix for the infamous "Black
screen after wakeup" bug. If this bug affects you, please help verify the
fix.

Updated packages have been available for a little while now in Utopic, with
a fix that has been verified by several users. These updated packages are
now in trusty-proposed, which means we're almost there.

You will need to enable the trusty-proposed repository,
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed

Then install the updated "light-locker-settings" and "xfce4-power-manager"
packages:
sudo apt-get install light-locker-settings xfce4-power-manager

Package versions:
light-locker-settings 1.2.1-0ubuntu1.1
xfce4-power-manager 1.2.0-3ubuntu4.1

Once you've got the latest packages installed, please restart your computer
and perform the test as outlined in the SRU report:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfce4-power-manager/+bug/1326740

Pay careful attention to
Use light-locker-settings to toggle the setting.
      a) Disable "Lock on Suspend"
      b) Click "Apply"
      c) Enable "Lock on Suspend"
      d) Click "Apply"

Once you have verified the fix, please leave a comment on the above bug.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
