Hey everyone! A new bugfix release of xfdesktop is now out [1]. We're ready to include it for wily, but we'd like to get some additional testing before we do so. The new release has been uploaded the the Xubuntu Staging PPA [2] and can be installed in Xubuntu 15.10 "Wily Werewolf".
Add the PPA: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:xubuntu-dev/xubuntu-staging sudo apt-get update Upgrade xfdesktop: sudo apt-get install xfdesktop4 Then restart your session and take it for a spin. Since this release fixes several issues with wallpapers (preview generation, rotation), be sure to try changing your desktop wallpaper, maybe to a previous Xubuntu release... ;) Let us know if you find any significant issues.
