Hello Xubuntu team and friends! I keep meaning to get this out but haven't found the opportunity. Let's get it moving.
With 20.04 past us, it's time to determine our Xubuntu Council for the next two years. The Xubuntu Council [1] consists of three members and is responsible for overseeing the development direction of Xubuntu and enabling the community to work with Xubuntu as smoothly as possible. The council is chosen by a CIVS [2] vote. All members in the Xubuntu Team [3] and/or direct members of any moderated subteams can be nominated, either by themselves or anybody else in the Xubuntu community with the nominee's consent. The same group of people is eligible to vote. With this announcement, I'd like to go ahead and open up nominations to the council. Please send nominations to this list no later than Saturday, August 22, 2020 to be considered. Thanks!
