instructions provided by HP. If they say sudo, make the first step
sudo -I
This step keeps sudo persistent and you don't need to keep re-entering your
pword. If not invoked, do so.

hp laserjet MFPrinter M28a in xubuntu 20.04
Printing works out of the box, but no scanning ist possible.
I tried several version of hplip 3.20 and hplip 3.19. They all told me
that some qt5 things were missing but without naming

PS: If you compile without the required dependency you would get error
configure stops telling me Qt Library is missing, and then make does not
run.
