[Yade-dev] Problem with daily-builds on new Yade versions

Hi all, as you know, we have some problems with building daily-builds on new Yade versions. The main problem now is not enough RAM on Launchpad's build-servers to have amd64-binaries. It fails now on building pkg/dem/Grid.cpp, even after splitting it on Grid and Grid_GUI. We should, probably,

Hi Anton, We should, probably, consider creating our own build-server for Ubuntu/Debian daily builds. I was also thinking about that recently. Thanks for investigating the problem and suggesting this. What do we need to setup a build server? Also a question. The version number of yade-daily

Hi Bruno it probably depends on which options you are using when compiling. I am not using the ppa and everything is working for me on 12.04. Nevertheless, you are right the ppa should probably be mentioned in the installation section. But I don't think it is mandatory. Cheers Klaus On

Hi, I encountered this problem some weeks ago [1] and proposed a new version of the installation manual. This was done with the github online tool. My proposed revision was not accepted because I was not able to create a patch from it. Alex [1]
