To be clear, I actually used ccmake to add the options - I set
CMAKE_CXX_COMPILER /cm/shared/apps/gcc/5.2.0/bin/c++
CMAKE_C_COMPILER /cm/shared/apps/gcc/5.2.0/bin/gcc
