I'm using Ocata version. I deployed several compute nodes and two
active/backup controller nodes with running neutron-server and rabbitmq.
after I switched the role of the controller nodes. the dhcp-agent

If I use several ml2 drivers, f.e. openvswitch and cisco, one that
supports vlan-transparent extension and another that doesn't, then I
can't create a vlan-transparent network at all, because of
check_vlan_transparency ml2 driver manager behavior.
What we should do instead

Looks like a Nova problem. We need the logs from this, but my assumption
is the Cinder volume is indeed attached and therefore in-use, so Cinder
is working as expected.
I am not sure if the expectation on the Nova side is that they fully
rollback and clean up the Cinder volume in case of a

If multiple network types are used with the macvtap driver, e.g. flat

If you run neutron with OVS it doesn't honor MTU values, which is a
issue if you host external environments that needs to communicate with
other entities that f.ex. have PMTU disabled as a security measure...
Another issue is that the MTU difference happens on a L2 bridge
