I missed giving "file://" prefix to keytab. After giving the same, its working.
However i still think, we should not get an NPE on same error condition.
Seems like the line in {{ServiceClient.addKeytabResourceIfSecure}} *switch
(keytabURI.getScheme())* is causing the NPE.
