[yocto] Toolchain with debug support

Hi All, Can anyone please tell me how to build a meta toolchain with debug support by setting CFLAGS to "-g -O0". I tried adding this into gcc recipe but that didn't worked out for me as another option I even tried adding CFLAGS_gcc = "-g -O0". But no success, actually I wish to debug inside a
