I have been using Yojimbo since April of 2006, version 1.0. I had to do an erase and install of the OS. I have been restoring various preferences from the Time Machine backup. I have reinstalled the Library folders and Preferences folders. Some of my applications are not yet fully functional. I have also tried a fresh reinstalled Yojimbo. This problem is not corrected. There is no Drop tab, and there is no function key functionality. The drop tab pane accepts the clicks and all the buttons are there, yet the drop tab doesn't show up. The Function keys do not show up in the preferences pane of Yojimbo. I thought someone might know where the documents which set these functions for Yojimbo might be that I can put them into my newly installed System. ___cartoon life blog___http://home.golden.net/~samu___more otherstuff __http://dougsamu.wordpress.com/__http://dougrogers.wordpress.com/ -- -- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list yojimbo-talk@barebones.com. Does quitting Yojimbo and opening it again fix the problem? I ask because I ran into a similar problem: Yojimbo came up with no drop dock and the hotkey prefs were empty. In my case it was because I had Yojimbo set up as a login item, along with a large number of other items. Apparently there was some contention for resources, and Yojimbo was not able to complete its startup process, which includes launching the drop dock and setting the hotkeys. Quitting Yojimbo and restarting it fixed the problem for me. BTW, the developers know about this issue. In my case it was caused by Yojimbo not being able to check in with sync services at startup (likely because of all the other applications I was trying to open simultaneously). -- -- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list yojimbo-talk@barebones.com. Re: Getting printer-friendly version of web page for archive
Webarchives fit in with priority 1 as well. A webarchive is just a bundle containing an HTML file and associated graphics files. I have a feeling I'll still be able to read HTML files in 30 years on whatever computer I'm using. I suspect the larger issue will be what to do with my massive Yojimbo library when it's either no longer supported or a move to another platform or decide that it's just gotten too big for Yojimbo TjL -- -- This message is sent to you because you are subscribed to the mailing list yojimbo-talk@barebones.com.
