If you copy the URL using cmd-c or using some other method then hit your
hot-key for the quick input window, the URL will be prepared for you as a web
archive. The advantage of this method over dragging to Yojimbo is that you can
tag the web archive in the quick input window (that is if you want to tag). It
will save you from having to go back and tag it subsequently. This method will
also capture the URL in the web archive comments.
On the other hand, dragging the URL to Yojimbo automatically captures the title
of the page (which you may or may not want). If you use the quick input you'll
have to type it in yourself (or use a multi-clipboard program like Quicksilver
which makes this a matter of a few keystrokes).

1) Capturing URL for documentation
I am likely converting from EagleFiler to Yojimbo, but I need to confirm
that I can do the following somehow.
I need to capture the source URL of a website when I copy it, whether
highlighting some text on a page or capturing a web archive. (I need to copy
quite a bit of data from the Internet, then be able to document the source
months later.) I do this constantly enough that I need something that is not
extra steps, but automatic.
I searched the archives and found that it might be possible through a
script. But, the poster asked for clarification, then the thread stopped.
Could anyone give me a clear answer to this, as well as an idea how to do it
if its through scripting. I have not yet done anything with scripts.
Thanks,
whardy7
