Why is it n the Yojimbo Mil List has a problem with my Mac account
I subscribe to a number of mailing lists, none of which have issues with my Dot-Mac account, yet every few days, the Yojimbo List complains it cannot reach me and I need to reply to the message to confirm my email address is valid. After doing this nearly a dozen times, I have had enough. So what gives? What secret sauce do all the other lists know that Bare Bones does not? Given the highly competent development I see for BBEidt and Yojimbo, I am sure it is not technical talent that is lacking . Perhaps Bare Bones needs to review its choice of list manager. I understand you frustration with synching
Don, If, as I do, you find Yojimbo pretty useful, and you would like to try one more workaround for synching, then try the following. I could not make synching work reliably until I did this and now it works without a flaw as far as I can tell. Check your .Mac Sync Preferences. If Automatic is selected, choose another setting. I chose Hourly. Once I did that, my desktop G5 and my Macbook Pro stay in synch hourly, even when separated by miles. In defense of BareBones on this, I believe Apple's Syncing design is not yet reliable for reason I have not investigated--empirical data shows it is not and across multiple applications. Perhaps Leopard will eliminate some of these issue. As for your other issues, I have not encountered them so I cannot make any suggestion regarding them.
