yojimbo & mailtags

2007-10-04 Thread John Chandler
I'm curious if anyone has seen any potential for an integration
between mailtags and yojimbo. Mailtags is able to send a task to iGTD
complete with tags, etc. Likewise, I would love it if I could enter
tags and a title in MailTags notes, hit F8, and automatically have the
content of that email filed away in Yojimbo...

Thanks...that just occurred to me as I was laying in bed this morning
that I hadn't done that. Worked great.

When I write permissions I actually mean ownership.

moving the Yojimbo database

2007-06-13 Thread John Chandler

Hello all,
Apologies, as I'm sure this has probably been covered before, but I
had no luck searching in the listtalk archives...

I'm trying to move my database from one user account on my computer to
another. I copied the folder /library/application support/yojimbo. All
the data is there, but unfortunately, a window keeps popping up that
says "Save operation could not be completed."

I also tried deleting the "com.barebones.yojimbo" in the
caches/metadata folder as the Yojimbo FAQ suggests when restoring a
database, but unfortunately that did not solve the issue.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

John

Thanks...Maybe it has indexed them yet, but with 16,000 files indexed so
far, I thought maybe... :)

I am able to find Yojimbo items using Google Desktop.

Yojimbo and Google Desktop

2007-04-05 Thread john chandler

Anyone else tried Google Desktop yet? So far, it hasn't been able to find
anything in Yojimbo, which would be a major flaw in Google Desktop for me.
Will this require a plugin to be developed by Google or BareBones?

John
