Further info on the failure to boot issue -
running the firstboot.sh gives an error -
+ '[' -d /KNOPPIX ']'
+ exit 0
I noticed that the HAL daemon is faling to start - wonder if that is the
problem? That seems to happen in all versions of attempting to boot the iso.
