Am I the only one who sees this as the next step towards Windows Version2?
Or do others see this as a positive?
I would rather have packages custom built for my distribution than having a
repository of millions of packages for any system that are generically
built. If I want generic I go to Mandr

Hi,
one bug I noticed was , that I couldn't fetch packages from
ftp.yoper.com via slim iso.
Think it might be same issue, that the smart channel got removed . Can
anyone confirm that ?
Can also be tested using the regular iso and just not putting it back
into the tray.

tested the iso with the same result on my intel lap.
on my amd 64 lap it installs but i got an no system found after reboot.
after repartitioning the hdd no partition found after reboot.
using cfdisk and reboot, while the installer shows the old partitions
after cfdisk.
