I have tried xpde several times and although it looks similar, because of licensing it will never be able to achieve the goal of being a XP replacment for those who want that. Its a neat project and they have done a good job of mimicing XP but as limited as it is, it would never be a good re

hi all, i was going thru lightweight desktops available and i got few like FluxBox,Xfce and Xpde. Is Xpde the right approach in Linux?...can somebody mimic Windows XP interface and make lookalike and still M$ be silent?..is there no licensing issues?... If Xpde is good and worth a try, should yo
