MortarBoardCUsmallCaptioned.jpg Zoom reversed.png Zoom and CU Routine Our trial Zoom sessions, communicated via the CU International Liberation Front groups in Telegram, Whatsapp and Google, are coming to an end. The final 30-minute Zoom session of this 6-part series on Lenin's "What Is To Be Done?" will be tomorrow. Meanwhile, the Course Introductions for the four CU 3rd-quarter 10-part courses went out last week. We now have to execute some adjustments, so that Zoom-type audio-visual interactions can fit in as a permanent feature of our CU courses. Postings The weekly posting round (that used to begin on Sundays) will henceforth begin on Tuesdays. This applies to Telegram, Whatsapp and Google (noting that Google e-mail postings are two weeks in advance of the others). Telegram is our preferred, main and comprehensive application, where all our supplementary services are present, and where membership is growing. Zoom Regular 30-minute Zoom meetings will be scheduled on Mondays, starting with the Inland groups. The normal time will be 18h00. Therefore, from Monday next week (20 July 2020), 30-minute Zoom meetings will be scheduled for the course on Hegel that is currently being posted in the Inland CU groups. (An introductory meeting for the course will be scheduled for 18h00 this Thursday, 16 July 2020). Each Monday session will normally discuss the material posted on the previous Tuesday, meaning that comrades have a week to read the material. The same material will, as usual, continue to be posted on Google e-mail, two weeks earlier. Zoom sessions for the remaining three courses that are running in parallel (i.e. on Coast, International and Youth/TU CU groups) will become possible as and when comrades can be found or volunteer to host such sessions.
