The government has targeted 10 million pipe connections to be installed during that time frame. "This is the government's commitment to the Millennium Development Goals," said Public Works Minister Djoko Kirmanto following a meeting on clean water at the vice president's office yesterday. With the additional 10 million water pipe connections, 90 percent of homes in big cities will have access to clean water.
