KABAR MENARIK, Dep. Agama sudah menyelesaikan proyek terjemahan Qur'an yg baru.
Banyak orang Islam yg mengritik Alkitab-nya umat Kristiani krn ada berbagai versi. Bagi yg jujur versi2 tsb. adalah terjemahan ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia yg berbeda, yg dimaksud untuk mempermudah pengertian isi Alkitab dan sama sekali tidak merubah isinya. Aku kira apa yg sudah dilakukan oleh Dep. Agama ini juga tidak berbeda, sejajar dg yg dilakukan beberapa kali oleh Lembaga Alkitab Indonesia. Mudah2an orang2 yg sering melontarkan kritik ngawur bhw ada versi2 Alkitab (yg isinya) berlainan, menjadi lebih mengerti dan berhenti melontarkan kritik. Sekedar untuk diketahui Dep. Agama RI sudah melakukan revisi Qur'an (terjemahannya) 3 (tiga) kali dlm kurun hampir 10 taon ini. Jadi Al Qur'an terjemahan Bahasa Indonesia dlm waktu 10 sudah ada 3 versinya. Religious Affairs Minister Maftuh Basyuni said during the launching in Purwokerto on Wednesday the translation of the Holy Scriptures was carried out gradually by a team assigned by the ministry. "It took five years, where each year saw the translatiion and interpretation of six chapters. Praise be to God, this year we finish the the whole 30 chapters," Maftuh said as quoted by Antara news agency. The print version of the translation and interpretation, Maftuh said, will be available in 10 volumes. During the launch, the minister symbolically handed the Koran translation and interpretation to President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. The most widely used print translations and interpretations of the Koran in Indonesian language are of the work of the ministry, with the first version launched in 1989 and the second in 2002. Other widely known translation of the Holy Book includes the work of one of Indonesia's most revered Islamic scholars, Quraish Shihab.(and)
