We just updated to 2.x following the instructions

for ubuntu package
It was smooth and did not cause any issue.
I did the upgrade now, both from Zammad 1.5 to 2.1.1 and then also from
Debian 8 to Debian 9. The only minor issue was, that I had to remove an
elasticsearch plugin and install it again for the new version. All went
smooth here, too!
