Hi Katherine, and congrats to you! I'm sorry to see Alice wasn't able to
manage the group. I've posted some informational things here from time to
time. Most recently, a link to an article comparing Zane Grey to his fellow
author (and yes, he wrote some westerns!), Edgar Rice Burroughs, famous for
Tarzan of the Apes. I also belong to the Edgar Rice Burroughs fan list -

You're right, you cannot have only one fav ZG book!

My favorite series is the Ohio Border series, which also includes the latest
published in 1999 with George Washington. Mainly because I live in the
same area, and am insatiable about info on the Early American / French and
Indian War era.

After that, it's hard to pick a favorite.

Wild Horse Mesa
The Thundering Herd
The Vanishing American
To the Last Man

oh....any book of ZG's that describes the beauty of a desert sunset! ZG
was and is known for his vivid descriptions that IMHO are unmatched in their
beauty.

I found an online book of ZG on this link:

And, another link with a list of online ZG books to read. I think I'll be
busy reading and printing out tonite! :)

be blessed, Shenandoah
