Yep, in many ways, we have a re-run of the 2000 election, except this time - so it appears - Bush will secure the popular vote by a couple of million. The increased number of voters seems to have benefited Bush rather than Kerry, with Bush being able to mobilise the religious/fundamentalist vote (apparently, some 4 million religious fruit-cakes votes were not 'utilised' in 2000, they just stayed at home and prayed, wrestled with snakes, talked in tongues, or whatever these sort of people do - quite a lot of Amish, etc, voted for Bush this time round).
 
Still, look on the bright side - at least one of them lost!
