Hi, Mike, There was no request for this after two offers - I was vry surprised. I can't find the copy I made, but I'll make another - no problem, this is Zappa at his most inventive, long rambling, but probing orchestral/ rock band jams - botiful! Give us your address and I will get off to you. It isMP3 sourced (from the old Napster - I think everything there was MP3 anyway - but it sounds a darn sight better than many a wav show). Here from you soon - contact me off-list, kind regards, nick --- In Zappa-List@yahoogroups.com, mikenyc11764us2001 [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Nick, What's the status of this vine...I would LOVE to get a copy of this and continue it for you, if that's the case. [Zappa-List] That Ring of Fire
Id like to employ the group mind if I could. I know I have Zappas version of Ring O Fire here somewhere but I cant remember where. Ive been told it was on an official release and that may be where I have it. I was thinking it was on a good soundboard boot as well though? Was it in 88? I don't know how often the '88 band performed it, so it may or may not be on any bootlegs. --Milhouse For further Z-related fun, please visit http://www.thebignote.com or http://www.killuglyradio.com , thank you. The Best Band version is from 4/22/88 in Wurzburg, Germany - actually the first of three performances of the song that night. Aside from that, they only performed it once more (by a fan's request on 5/25/88 in Mannheim).
