2006-06-15 Thread Jim L

Im listening to
it now. Of all the audience recordings of this tour so far this one sounds the
best. Perhaps I should have waited just a little longer before selecting one to
vine. Im thinking now that maybe a vine of a DVD-R data disc with all
these great shows from this ZPZ tour will be in order. Im up to 5 dates collected
so far and havent even listened to the Italian show yet. Do you have a
DVD drive in your PC Michael?

[Zappa-List] Orphanage Rescues - Chalk Pie, KPFT (Crush All Boxes) Manchester 12 Feb 79

2006-06-15 Thread Les Watts
Hi folks,

All three of these shows have now been claimed by Colin Fenton
[EMAIL PROTECTED] who will re-offer back to the group in due course.

Cheers
Les.

++

Original Post:

I've had no response to the offers of any of these three shows so they're
all being placed in the orphanage until maybe a new member is interested.
They're all worth having and I suspect the lack of interest is just down to
the fact that they've all been around for a while and most of us have
already got them.
Please note that the Manchester show was designated as a Euro-vine but as
the US copy seems to have disappeared, I can't see why it can't go
world-wide.
That said, please note that the same show is also circulating as part of the
excellent Instant Bootleg Collection Vols. 1 2 vine.

Cheers
Les

Hey Kids!
These disk(s) just arrived from my most deepest, mysterious source.
(Well, I didn't generate them.)
I promised the 'disk' of stuff from the 81 rehearsal that appeared in
TBN's BHJ Vault whenever the hell it was... And I can deliver.
But...
I received 4 disks of the 81 rehearsals. And I personally do not know
(nor do I intend to inquire) whether or not this disk, as presented
at TBN, is a compilation, or one of the 4.
Get the picture?
So our BHJ's Vault disk has increased from 1 disk to 4. I do not think
that is going to break anyone's heart.
But...
If you, by chance, put yourself on this vine expecting one (and only
one) disk of the aforemoentioned 'release', now's the time to remove
yourself from the vine.
Otherwise...
The hoppinated vine commences now; John, I've still got your addy (go
figure), if you want out respond soon; Neil, you may wish to contact
John off list with your addy.
(I do have yet to copy these, so they will be in the post by Sat AM.
Have fun!
