On dividing it onto two vines - I don't mind but I don't see the problem with
doing a ping pong thing.
But another but:
if Chris has already sent it to me then I'll pass it to my Brit friends
omitting US,
then Chris or Jim is supposed to send the new set to Mr.Skull as a US starter.
If Chris has
May I join in it?
Thanks

Well...
I'm not one to complicate things and, tho I can see some of the
efficiencies mentioned in this thread regarding vines crossing the pond, I think
having two branches for every vine will end up complicating the system. My
opinion is that a single vine is easier to track, and easier
I've got discs marked 13/11/70 early and late...are mine wrongly dated
or were there two shows on the 13th as well ?
The early show starts with Jam(Grace Slick onstage) and the late with
something entitled Have Gun Will Travel.

FZ drove; he chose not to after waiting too long in line at the DMV. Early
LP jackets spelled the song Redunzl, I believe.

Whatever you guys wish, I suppose. But part of the vine system we employ
makes searching for them easier and I feel that splitting them will make that
end more confusing.
Whatever...

I've just checked a number (well three) FZ gig lists and they all suggest
these discs come from 13/11/70.
Although they also confirm that two shows were also performed on 14/11/70
but with no info available.
Well worth getting though as sound is very good.
As for the correct date 13th or 14th
How about the person who starts the vine waits till there is a list of people who want it. ( say waiting 4 or 5 days before starting it)Then the vine starter cuts and pastes the list to make it geographically sensible.Once it's in motion other people can add their names and OK it may eventually
My copy of the late show is dated 14th and has the following as the
first track.
Is this the same show?
01. Kip Cohen IntroPalladin and Hey Boy (theme song from T.V. show
Have Gun Will Travel) (2:37)

What a coincidence! I was wrong back in 76!
But then again... I could be wrong about that.

Sounds good to me, case by case and what makes sense. As far as searching, as
long as both Europe
and US vines are in the same VO heading, that shouldn't be a problem.

It should even itself out, A vine that starts in the US would spend a bit of time Ping Ponging* across the States before heading out to the rest of the world.Like wise one starting over this side would Pong Ping* around Europe before heading Stateside.Cris* These are technical terms I learnt
I'd say 3-4 days...
But, of course, that's something I would say.

Hey SOF!
I graduated in
I know it's slower for those farther down the list, but
I agree with Richard. It hasn't been more than 2-3 bucks for me to mail
overseas, and it's kind of fun to see something from Poland, Croatia, Sao Paolo,
or the isles arrive.

I'd be interested in hearing the tweezed version, too,
and the setlist looks *very* interesting! Go for it.

Well, the obvious has been done - correct track separation. Now I have to
find a City of Tiny Lights with a similar sound and solo (shouldn't be too
tough; FZ played that "Aint Necessarily So" solo several times). Once that track
is repaired, I'll be looking to do the same with "Illinois
