I saw this message
over on another list and was intrigued. It almost rigs a bell but I cant
seem to recall why. Anyone?

Yeh, I agree! At the beginnign of a show, he is trying to get the audience 
to woo Grace back onto the stage, but can't think where and when (earlyish 
material, I think - also a very good show, with some funky rock),

That would be the 13-Nov 1970, Fillmore East show that was 
vined in the List this past summer.
You're right; it was a good show - but it could stand some professional 
tweakage to equalize all of the vocal parts...

Yeah, you've got to really listen for it - which is why I said the show 
could stand some tweakage. The instruments come thru fine, the vocals are there 
about 75% of the time; it's the asides that need boosting, but there are a lot 
of them.
Still, an excellent show...
Now, if only someone would come forward with the other show from that 
2-night run featuring Joni Mitchell reciting "Penelope wants to fuck the 
sea"...
