Lawrence Wayne Fischer, better known as Wild Man Fischer, died in his
hometown Los Angeles on June 15. He was 66. Fischer was a prolific
songwriter, often classified as an outsider artist. He was notable for
being responsible for Rhino Records' first release, Go To Rhino Records in
1975.

larry fischer was a wacky dude i knew him back in 68 in la, we played a club in 
santa monica together one night,
