I've been thinking about this for quite a while actually. Now that someone else has brought it up, I figure now's a good time to put in my 2 cents too... Like SOFA, I don't participate in many of the vines either. In fact, I don't know that I've participated in any since we adopted 'the new way' of doing them. Personally, I like the old way better. Sure - you're gonna run into problems, vines will die/get lost, etc. But I think it's easier for things to get 'lost in the cracks' because people don't always use the latest version of the vine when they add themselves to it, effectively bumping people off until they notice that they're no longer on the vine which they had signed up for. So, if anyone's keeping track of what people prefer, add me to the list to go back to 'the old way'...
