Indeed the price on 4.7 gigabyte
drives has been dropping like a rock. I've been looking at the new double
density drives here lately. Most bootlegs are still coming in the 4.7 size but I
imagine that will be changing soon enough. The 8 gigabyte DD drives are now well
under 100 USD.

Heard a few folks mention they can make DVD's and was curious if DVD burners are becoming the norm. I have one but have been converting to VCD for vines so that everyone could participate. Also some might have the ability to capture DVD video if they only have a player and convert it to VCD. Or we could always send around a DVD and VCD version of the same show and each could copy the one they could copy. > > Jim L > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Brian Winans > To: Zappa-List@yahoogroups.com > Sent: Friday, February 04, 2005 8:34 PM > Subject: Re: [Zappa-List] Digest Number 1164 > > > > > >maybe a poll is in order to find out how many > >of us can burn DVD-Rs. > > I'm in. > Brian > > _________________________________________________________________ > On the road to retirement?
