Sorry about that. I briefly confused my patented "pond skippinator" (which 
sends a vine leaping across the ocean in gradually decreasing leaps) with 
my patented "pond hoppinator" (which basically holds a vine on a continent until 
the initial heavy action plays out). They're totally unrelated, and have never 
been photographed together. And they're both patented because I like shiny 
leather...
