My thanks to all of you who have sent messages, to the list and to my mailbox.

I have printed them all out and Margaret has read them all.
We are both very touched by the sentiments you have expressed.

We would have liked to reply to them all personally, but please take this as our appreiciation to you all.

Regards

Cris

I'm afraid I won't be contributing for a while. We've just had some  bad news.

On Friday my wife was diagnosed with a tumour in her neck, she has
been unwell for a couple of months and has got worse over the past  few weeks.
They now tell us it has spread to her bones.
Yesterday she had a mini stroke and was rushed to hospital, they now fear it has spread to her brain.
A brain scan will tell us one way or another tomorrow.

She is very sick but still with it, she has a wicked sense of humour and is in good spirits.
We have been married for nearly thirty years, and she's a big a Zappa
fan as I am.
We were planning to see the Zappa brothers in Brighton tomorrow night, but as luck would have it, it was cancelled.

She has looked after me for the past 15 years through my own disability and now it is my turn to look after her.
We have four great kids who are being a tower of support to both of us.

I don't think she will see Christmas this year.

I have a couple of vines here that I will endeavour to send out as  soon as I can.

Speak to you soon.

Cris
