This is a great audience recording, that unfortunately has been
damaged somehow - I've upgraded this show 3 times, and all versions
have had these parts where the sound deteriorates. I also had some
problems with my CDRs, leaving small glitches at a few places in the
wav-files. I've fixed them, but there are a couple of minor skips
where these glitches were. Regardless of these problems, I think
it's hard to find a better version than this one. A great show it is
too.

notes:

From Greg Russo: Burt Ward, the "Boy Wonder" Robin on the "Batman"
TV series, was signed to MGM Records in June 1966 after an
unproductive stint on the ABC-Paramount label. Tom Wilson produced
with Zappa arranging and conducting, and the break in the master
numbers indicates that other songs were recorded at these
sessions: "Teenage Bill Of Rights", "I Love" ["Autumn Love"?] , "The
Comedian" and "Tears Come From Loving You". Of these, Ward only
vocalized on "Teenage Bill Of Rights", the other ones were meant to
have his vocals, but time ran out at the recording session. Those
recordings are backing tracks arranged and conducted by FZ, who's
heard on occasion on the session tape. The record was released on
November 14, 1966.

Mothers of Invention
Olympia
Paris, France
10/26/1968

from Jon Naurin's RDNZL newsleter:

One of the greatest new finds in recent years. If you ask me, this
recording beats "Ahead Of
Their Time" in terms of sound quality, and a very fine show it is
too. The only negative thing I
can say about it is that it's rather short - it cuts just as they
take a short intermission. The 10 min
FM segment of this show (probably the end of the concert ) we had
before is not part of this
recording.

Resolver + Brutality

This is an audio cassette containing 58 minutes of synclavier music.

1.Resolver ED. 19:57
2.Big Sequence 15:54
3.Brutality 4:22
4.Bondage 3:31
5.Oral Sex At Gunpoint 5:18
6.Bondage (Maniac Mix) 4:11
7.Oral Sex At Gunpoint (Maniac Mix) 1:49
8.Brutality (Maniac Mix) 2:34

This cassette is from about the same era as Zappa Meets The Mothers
Of Prevention (1985). From this album the track H.R. 2911 is the
closest to the music presented on Resolver + Brutality. We believe
the cassette can be dated to 1986.

The tracks can be grouped into Resolver (1,2) and Brutality (3-8).
First two tracks are pure instrumental opuses. Next tracks includes
also voice samples. The Brutality group of tracks is directly
related to the 1985 Senate PMRC hearings.

The cassette is TDK SA-X 90 (the label is from SA 60). Tracks 1.-4.
are on side A, tracks 5.-8. on side B. The quality of the cassette
is very good. It is probably a master clone directly recorded by
Zappa in his studio.

We proudly present, "Thing-Fish - The Real Tapes", which has now
been
liberated from the evil clutches of commercial bootleggers!! The
original

If that was not good enough, we include amazing BRAND NEW artwork,

---Frank Zappa Dick Cavett show 11-01-71---

Size: 94.5mb
Legnth: 19:56
Quality: A- excellent (minus for minor hum and static)
Lineage: MasterCass>STAudio 24/96 card> 16bit.wav>>shn
Recorder: Line out jack of tv to my home cassette deck. No
microphone used.
Release date: 1-04

Frank Zappa on the ABC Dick Cavett show. This was a 200 motels promo
appearance.
Two cool songs and an excellent interview. Few of you remember
Cavett,
but he had the best talk show of all time.
And this interview has Dick and Frank in top form.
Listen carefully and you will hear Cavett make Zappa laugh with a
joke
about censorship! Wonderful! Cavett makes Dave and Jay Leno look
like morons.
An early version of Sofa w/Flo and Eddie in their prime is followed
by
a top notch interview about Franks lyrics, censorship, John Lennon,
200 motels, Ringo Starr, and more..You will hear why Cavett was the
best..
Then, a new arrangement of Who are the brain police!! I was told that
in the early 70s video tape was a scarce commodity and many of the
original
ABC VTs of the Cavett show were recorded over, including this one.
As I understand it ABC has no copies of this, or many other early
Cavett shows.
The sound is excellent. Remember back then we all used antennas on
our tvs so there
is very minor hum & static once or twice but no problem really.
This is great!

Directly from my tv to you...

2.Interview

4.What about the movie?
