Try
ifconfig  hw ether  up
. This should work with both the zd1211 and the zd1211rw driver I think.

is there a way to change the MAC adress of my zd1211 device?

I'm happily using the 'old' zd1211-driver rev 84 from svn. Do I have to
upgrade to the new git-driver?
