My WN-G54/USL (vendor name: IO DATA) works with:
kernel 2.6.23.12 (Debian 2.6.23-2)
kernel 2.6.22.12-rc1 (Debian 2.6.22-6) + compat-release 2.8-12-g0270147
I wasted much time to try under Debian kernel 2.6.22-6, however,
it had never worked without compat-release one.

I have bought a Micra Digital 802.11g wireless USB device with 25. The
