I've got such a beast working quite happily now, using the whole wireless
tree for 2.6.24-rc3 but linked to kernel 2.6.22. I just had to change a few
lines of code to cope with printing of the mac address to the log. (I'm sure
it's dangerous and not recommended but I couldn't get my graphics card
working properly with 2.6.24)

What problems are you having with 2.6.24-rc3?
