Probably a bit silly, but did you double check you've got the zd1211b module
running ?

Using Tomcat but
Figured it out. the awll3026 that I have uses the zd1211b driver which has to
be configured from the makefile to be built. All is good and I am posting
by way of the zd1211b driver. Yipee!!! (Now if I can only figure out the new
way of doing wpa_supplicant in Ubuntu dapper:)
